hihi! these few days have been kinda busy.
let's start with 23 dec
went to watch a movie ''Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist'' with claire and jervis. before that, we walked around taka to do christmas shopping. amanda was working there. some weird stuff happened with her work but in the end she could join us for the movie, yay! (: met a number of people from our school working in taka too, everyone's like WORKING. we walked into the theatre abt 10 min late, thus we missed the beginning of the show. the show's funny and sick, no wonder it's rated NC-16, but it's still a nice romance comedy show. after the movie, jervis and claire both went to meet their respective 'garden' person. so i stayed with amanda in taka to continue my shopping. amanda decided to buy lingerie for a couple of her friends so we went to this lingerie shop which was packed like crazy!! amanda wanted to try some on so i spent a good time waiting. then we went after much comtemplation and procrastination to causeway to continue our shopping. after finally settling on jervis's gift we went home (:
24 dec, nothin much really. haha, just wrapped the presents from the day before. attended a concert by jurong christian church in the evening and got a large influx of 'merry christmas' messages near midnight
25 dec (: (: attended church's christmas service and received some cards and gifts. some of the cards were very nice (: after that was a party with my relatives held at home. my same-aged-same-month cousins and i really did some catching up. there's even a plan for an outing, haha. i left for claire's party with jervis after that. we finally saw claire's new much-bragged-about
middle room that's not in the middle of the house, haha. we ate, played taboo, murderer, heart attack card thingy, blackjack. and took a couple of pictures. after most of us have gone home, claire's church friend started telling us ghost stories, haha, pretty freaky. we stayed all the way til 2am, good thing claire's dad was nice enough to drive us all back (: amanda then told me that she gave me another gift from the one she was suuposed to give me, lol. oh well, i'll get it the next time we meet, hopefully sometime soon (:
26 dec, watched Twilight in the morning with gideon, joseph, lionel and david. not a bad movie, funny at times. then again i've never read the book, so i suppose i would say it would be bad if i ever did read it? waited for gideon's car to finish it's polishing before reaching school for band's POP (passing-out parade) 50 min late with minette. though the whole thingy started like almost an hour and a half later than the designated time. so, the usual speeches and gifts and whatnot. we had a great time chatting with our section while eating pizza (:
and..that's it for now. it's kinda late (for me it is) right now, 5 min pass 12. with only less than 6 hrs of sleep, i cant think very clearly right now, haha
