hey! it's the third day of chinese new year.
ok, i'll start with the first day. went to this hotel for brunch in this chinese restaurant with relatives from my dad's side. all the young kids look older, as in, they can talk and respond, haha, it makes me feel slightly older than before, then again. everyone's older now, haha. we were divided into 4 tables, and all the
3rd generation cousins sat in one. there was some trouble placing the orders for the food cos we didnt know how much we wanted. in the end our table had the most number of plates of food, haha! the shrimp wrapped in the rice flour dough thingy kept on coming we didnt know how much we ordered, in the end there were like 4 plates of it? after eating, my family and i left for the terrace house of my mum's-side uncle. where everyone else from my mum's side would also gather. apparently we were the first to arrive, and after eating so much we all felt tired but i already slept in the car on the way there so i was wide awake watching some show that didnt make much sense to me, i was so glad when my relatives came, at least there's someone else to talk to, haha. one of my cousins just got into rgs so it was interesting to find out wad she thought of it and how she's doing, and she looks way older than before, haha. but i pretty much stoned there, except for going to one of my uncle's neighbours to watch the partial solar eclipse. they have this box with some lens thing that reflects the image onto the screen on one side of the box, there we can see some crescent shaped thing, but it was so cloudy it was hardly visible. we then left in the evening and went home. i bet with rachel that i'd get more hong bao money than her, damn! i lost, haha. it's ok, it's not that bad, lol.
went out with my family minus gideon to sentosa on the second day to see the flowers there, haha. poor gideon had work on that day. the thing is, i was kinda tired that day, haha. when we got to vivo to take the monorail, there was this large queue. all of them were trying to get to sentosa too! so we eventually got to sentosa and took pictures here and there. there were all sorts of stuff made using flowers. i'll upload it if i feel like it (: we played with a snapple bottle cap's 'safety button'. we just kept pushing it until it makes a lot of noise, haha. sat on the tiger sky tower for the first time, haha. the ride was really interesting. we ate the new zealand ice cream, it's damn nice!! after that we left and i was quite tired.
and today's the third day, nothing much has happened so..that's that. haha
