heya! havent blogged for quite awhile, haha oh well..
i've been going to different open houses these few days, i need to find out more abt my potential future education. i've been to YJC's, SP's, NYP's and NP's. all the open houses i've been to have really made me realise how much effort the people behind it all put in, and..that would be a lot, haha. this week's been full of stuff, it seems really long. like last sunday seems really long ago.
went to claire's house on tue to do some lettuce slicing and prawn de-shelling. the prawn juice made a part of my left pointer finger itch and grow some small lumps..weird.. but it went away after awhile, haha! we then went to see kai ting's new house which is damn luxurious and posh and whatnot, i dun think i'll feel very comfortable if i ever own a house like that, haha.
went to ntu and smu together with claire and jervis and claire's mum on wed. just to find out a little more abt the life there. claire's mum drove us all around, so nice of her (: the trip really made me see uni life differently. we went to ntu cos claire's cousin studies there and he showed us around, at smu we were more or less fooling around and behaving like 12 year olds or something, haha!
on thur, claire and jervis came over to my place to look through all the poly courses but we were kinda tired to get too much done, and then claire and i went to celebrate yi chen's birthday at Seoul Garden at marina square (was it?) we ate til we couldnt eat anymore, at least, i did. we put a bowl of chocolate on top of the soup bowl and used it like chocolate fondue for dessert (: then we started playing with the leftovers, adding all sorts of nonsense in the soup bowl like egg shells and ice-cream haha. talked with claire abt stuff on the train during the trip back,
i just dunno wad to think on friday, jervis, claire and jordan and i went to the different open houses mentioned earlier except for NP. though jervis didnt go for NYP's. haha, i dunno wad to say for the open houses.
sat was supposed to be a no outing day but claire suddenly called and suggested going to NP, haha, so we went and her mum fetched us there. turns out jervis was already there having fun with his red camp ppl. so claire and i walked around NP for awhile. while we were eating, gideon messaged me that that church band prac was at 6, which i forgot! ( i thought it was 7). so i took a cab with claire, gideon paid though, didnt have any money, oops.. once we reached church, claire took off and i had band prac.
today, woke up at 6 to run at yishun stadium before playing for service, it's been quite awhile since i exercised, haha. the playing was kinda screwy but mo said no one would hear the bass so no one would know the mistakes, oh well.. gideon, joe, mo and nic and myself went to the city area guitar shops after service, i wanted to get a new bass bag and a strap. (man..i feel bad for making gideon pay for it, i'll pay you back someday!) ate at the teppan yaki thingy place for dinner, that's a first for me! food's not bad, but the price.....!!!
well, that's all for the week, tmr's the results-for-o-level day!! i'm concerned..i dunno wad to expect. haha, hope all goes well..
