quick update

hey, last sat i went for the first lesson of the bunka japanese language school thingy with yi chen. the teacher's a japanese and speaks in that accent. i found it so cool i was chuckling to myself in the beginning but i eventually got used to his accent. he asked each one of us how he can address us, and he says it in japanese and then writes it down in katakana on the name list. he introduced to us the three different ways of japanese characters, hiragana, katakana and kanji. during the lesson, i realised i cant just understand japanese, i have to learn how to speak in their accent. otherwise it'll be the same as foreigners speaking english in their own accent or something like that. the 3 hr lesson was good. though i think should have went for the break like everyone else, cos i found it increasingly difficult to understand stuff later in the lesson, haha. i was just so intent on perfecting my hiragana writing. call me enthu, lol.
after the lesson, i had to rush back to church for band prac. haiz..guess i'll have to be late every sat band prac until the classes stop around maybe march?
sunday, after service i went to play frisbee and soccer. nelson and i were late cos i was..guiding him on how to play the piano, haha. the frisbee game was fun, it was something like rugby like it h ad to be caught past a certain point to score. since we were playing at the field beside yishun polyclinic, the frisbee went to the road many times. one time, it went too far out and cars were coming, so we could only stand there and hope the frisbee doesnt get destroyed. one taxi looked like it was gonna run over it. that's when mo said ''if the frisbee 'pok' i'll laugh.'' immediately after he said that, the taxi ran over it with a 'pok' sound! and both of us started laughing!
after that we played soccer, it was the first time i found soccer to be fun! lol
pretty much nothing happened on monday and today. tmr is claire's friend's seoul garden thingy, so we're going there for lunch. haha, k til next time!
