yes! this blog's not dead yet! here's a new post to prove it!
ok, came back from the adventure camp in bintan. it had its fun times but also its suckish times.
the water there smells weird and tastes like blood, haha, but it's probably bcos of the pipes or something, and flushing became old-fashioned where we had to pour water into the toilet manually, good thing i didnt shit, haha (:
i was in the first 'wave' to get there. we climbed this mountain thingy, some parts were quite steep and we had to use a rope just to continue. it was kinda tiring at first, after awhile i sort of fell into this trance like state and wasnt axactly very aware of every single thing, just 'climb, climb, climb' but we eventually reached the top, yay! and then.....go back down! yup, only it's supposedly on the other side, so, trance like state round two, haha.
on the 2nd day we went dragon boating and played some teambuilding games. we had no choice on where we were rowing our dragon boat, cos there's a guy behind controlling our direction, so we were just going in circles for that hour or so.
we went to plant mangroves and paint the natives' house on the 3rd day, we played til all our hands and arms were covered in paint and had to clean it off with kerosene, the thing is, we were rushing for time to get back, so we had to sit in the bus for 45 min with kerosenified hands, haha. and i had no idea i lost my watch, until much later, i just didnt check on it til after we came back to the campsite and i realised it wasnt there, so now i'm watchless.
my ctg came to my house on sat to prepare for yj's cvd. my mum was there to ensure her precious baking equipment dun get destroyed or something. after that my dad addressed everyone of them, something abt whether or not they'll be coming again, that was sooo...awkward
and due to the graduated batch's good A level results, there;s gonna be half day tmr! yay!, it's supposed to be for the teachers, but oh well, that involves us normal students too (:
