labour day

hey, this post is on labour day cos i cant relly remember much of wad happened before. haha
woke up at
6! to report to sch at
7! for this syf band exchange thingy at MJC. the buses that took us there from sch were the same drivers, lol! zhe me qiao ah! so we reached MJ, and as expected looked nice, haha. the other schs there were MJ, JJ, PJ, Rivervalley high and Dunman High. all the bands had to present twice. we were the last for the first time, which sucked bigtime! i didnt keep my reed wet, so it was super hard to play! the second attempt was better (: anyway, all the other bands were good, JJ's woodwind runs were really clear, MJ had like the biggest band there which sounded good, Dunman's oboe sounded super nice. and only JJ was playing overture 1 like us, haha. it was the first time i heard overture 2 over there. i think they're both nice la, haha. just that no. 1 sounds simpler while no. 2 sounds more complex. so after the exchange sheng wei and i went to change and eat while waiting for claire. in the end her dad fetched us to plaza sing (: there we walked around looking at some shops after getting the super selling fast tickets for wolverine! then we played pool. i, like always, sucked. haha. then we went to watch wolverine. not bad! they actually show how they coated his bones with adamantium. and lots of other freaky mutants. claire said gambit looked hot, cos of his hair, haha! after the movie sw had to leave, orh.. then claire and i went to eat at secret recipe. first time for me! the banna chocolate that claire brags abt really was good, lol. then we walked around plaza sing looking at gifts and weird stuffs in the shops that hadnt closed. we took the train to khatib to wait for her parents to send her home.
yup, a mostly well spent holiday (: hope i'll get another day like this (:
